Hi I’m Carl!

Slowhammer started as a simple bit of self motivation, a way to help me paint a few more miniatures than last year, and I figured I’d share it with everyone.

Like most people in the hobby I have a heck of a lot more grey models than painted. This Blog serves as a way for me to slow dow, focus on one thing at a time, and actually enjoy the process rather than rushing through to get models on the table.

My main focus will likely be my slow grow Horus Heresy army tackled one unit and one week at a time. I’ll be sharing work in progress pictures, successes and failures and my honest opinions about what went wrong.

There will also be other things in the mix occasionally! Gaslands, Battletech, Flames of War, and a myriad of other minis too!

I’m by no means a fantastic painter just a humble hobbyist doing his best to have less grey!
