Today I managed to get some solid progress in. I’ve base-coated a full squad of tactical marines and a squad of Tartaros terminators, including a centurion in Tartaros armour.
The centurion isn’t finished yet, but he’s getting close. I’m trying to push the highlights a bit further than usual to really make the green pop and give the armour a bit more presence.
It’s not lightning-fast progress, but it is progress — and I’m happy with where things are heading so far. The only real way to improve is to keep going, take each model as it comes, and see where the process leads.

Over the next few days, I’m aiming to get a decent amount of paint on the tactical marines. The goal is simply to keep moving forward and get models finished.
I’m hoping that by sticking with it and putting brush to model regularly, I’ll naturally start to see improvements. And if I do reach a point where I feel I’ve come on in a big way, there’s always the option to go back and revisit older miniatures later on.
For now, it’s about perseverance, progress, and enjoying the process.
