Despite my best efforts, life got in the way of painting yesterday. Thankfully, today I managed to make a bit of progress.

I know it’s not a huge amount of progress, but it’s something, and I’m really enjoying this method of painting so far.
Doing most of the work up front with the airbrush, including the pre-shading, takes a lot of the effort out of the later stages.
Using German Grey for the black areas also means I can just slap a wash over them to add some easy depth and shadows.
Next up is an all-over gloss varnish to help with the oil panel lining. I’m hoping to get that done tomorrow… but who knows.
